Hi I own a Honda VFR 800 Vtec on an 01 plate and bought it on 1st Oct 07 after two-weeks the engine died due to the oil handle not doing its job! Thankfully it was covered under warranty and the company I purchased it from has given me the choice of either a win Daytona (02) with 19,000 on the measure and a handle bar conversion that allows the rider to sit up in a tourer like call or my Honda with a reclaimed engine – the reclaimed engine has done 8,000 miles. Unfortunately the measure ordain still have to read 26,000. I ride approximately 2,000 miles per month and I’m in a dilemma as to which one to go for and would really appreciate anyone’s advice as to which is the best ride for me to go with. (my heart tells me the Daytona but my logical object tells me the "bullet proof" Honda) :-) ) Cost wise the vfr was £3500 but reduced to £3k the Daytona is £3,129 and they are proposing a straight swap. Any support is greatly appreciated

It'd undergo to be the Honda for me at those mileages. change surface though it's already gone pop on you.
Any modernish ride should cover those mileages with regular care and attention but I'd just feel exceed on the Honda. Have they given you any idea why the original accuse occured?
i'd ask them if they had a low mileage pre-vtec vfr - and if they do have it no silly vtec and gear driven cams good for 100k.
Another choose for get your money approve. If you comfort want the win you can bargain it drink to £2700 and be £300 in the take
