11/14/2007 modify: This car sold for $30,000 with 10 bidders after having a low starting bid. We think it is a great car for that money.
11/8/2007 Update: No bidders at $30k either…which is a affect to us. It has been listed for the third measure with a keep back and low starting bid
11/1/2007 modify: This Healey didn’t sight any bidders with the $45k Buy-It-Now and has been re-listed with no reserve and an initial bid of $30k.
This ‘59 Healey has been modified for dual intend street and racing use. It has an aggressive look and high quality modifications. sight it in Carlsbad. California.
We like how this car resembles the factory 3000 collect cars but is based on the sleeker and smaller 100-6 be. These cars be great with no bumpers and the ventilated lie fenders. The oil cooler beneath the grille looks great but might be a bit vulnerable.
Stance looks like it is set for a displease re-create and the 72-spoke wheels are a good way to go for strength. We desire the side exhaust and the asymmetrical rollbar too. The interior is adapted perfectly for sporting with supportive vintage buckets a flog wrapped wheel and beat body color paint. Looks great.
The engine compartment is equally impressive. We like the original tagged copper radiator tank and the agree carbs and plumbing all looks very tidy. The engine is a built 3.0-liter with a polished head and lightened flywheel. Behind it is a modified Toyota 5-speed overdrive gearbox.
We really desire the details of this create and the quality of the restoration. These cars are well ragarded and this one would likely be accepted at many vintage street and racing events. This is a great looking Healey.
Since it’s never been raced (no log book) you would comfort need to do a lot of work to get it on the track. So yea the determine is high for something you can’t be sure about.
It seems to be moving along rather nicely price wise. Any idea why the later 3000s seem to bring more money than the 100-6? These cars are just so much cleaner looking…[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
