First i would desire to apologise for my poor English it’s not so good but i will comfort desire to write this analyse as it’s needed.
Their online support is always change state and say fast and are very tissue and client friendly. It only takes seconds and I have a say.
Though I been through hell just to act my website and it’s not done yet! Their online give say one thing and the actually book support express you another!
I have closed my website for more then 2 days in the pass but I received a fare say from their online support that they had problems with their transfer. No problem. So I cancelled my transfer until advance notice
I undergo transferred all of my files myself except for my DB which is very big (3gb) I decided that they should do it for me.
Having to fill different formalities different tickets and forms. Hoping after a longs sleep it ordain be done. I change state my computer today and to my great frustration I see that they say me back telling me I should “reply approve to my first ticket” while I undergo already been over this with the many online support who told me exactly what to do and I did so!
Up until my frustration if it wont be done by 12pm Ill be dragging my bags and leaving them to another hoping they will be better
- to many formalities and going through things over a million time and it wont be done (or maybe it will but with a big decelerate!)
I evaluate if you are a starting a new website (or undergo a small website) then they are great they have a very user friendly support for simple things.
But if you have a little bit of a big website to act (more then 10GB + big db) and can’t drop delay such as having your website closed for more then 24hr.
+ a give that drag you around with friendly talk that goes nowhere like in my case then I would rather pay a little more and I’m already searching.
Hi!Sorry to comprehend about your problems with HG. Just for curiosity what kind of place does use 3 GB of DB space? do you store pictures on the DB? I'm asking because depending of your say you'll probably be better on a semi-dedicated or dedicated server.
Cpanel/WHM - RvSkins - Fantastico de Luxe - place Builder- PHP4/5 support - be Migration
FFMPEG. FFMPEG-PHP. Libffac. Libffad2. Xvid. Libogg. Libvorbis. Mp3lame. FLV2Tool Support -
smf forum about 100 active users daily (its closed forum so i can keep bring in very easy) maybe the mods? games etc take place?

With 6000 images + comments comfort it shouldn't take 3 GB of DB. It's too much and can easily crash shared environment resources. (IMHO) Ask for some DB optimization from Coppermine Mods or use some DB Caching technique. Your beat bet will be to get some mid range VPS or Semi-Dedicated server. Don't forget to ask your entertain about DB connection limits. You might actually like them to know the claim DB size & your daily traffic.
A database can be very difficult to assign without shell find and change surface more difficult depending where you are coming from. You seem to be pretty knowledgeable so there must be a cerebrate you chose not to do it yourself. Do you have a ticket number I can act a be at?
I would furnish hostgator com a come about to remedy the situation if I were you. I had a problem with HG as well and it was fixed very quickly after explaining the situation.

exactly i have had a converse with the livesupport of downtownhost today they were honest with me from the start telling me it's not easy to act my website from where i'm coming from and this will act them sometime.
but what hostgator did is furnish me false loops once from the livesupport who told me to do other things than the tickets(you ordain sight the two tickets)
+ i don't even know are tehy doing it? is there any problems? i'm just left in the dark!
do it myself:- my first attempt was to let hostgator move my website ! this was in the weekend ofcours it took more then 24 hours i understand hostgator had tranfer problems? so i thought ill do it myself moved all the files and on to the db where i do undergo a little knowlegde of how to register mysql and upload it manually but having to transfer it manually it kept giving me blank pages even when seperating it to diffrent parts! thats when i talked to livesupport and they told me it's very common if you transfer files more then 10mb where i tried AGAIN for the second time to ask hostgator to move it for me.. and this is what all this drama is about
(yes i'm more relaxed now then what i was this morning!) ps: this is my book QNU-962584 (though i apreciate it to keep personal details like names etc out of the public forum) thanks,VAIOGIRL

SO HOW MUCH LONGER SHOULD I WAIT FOR HOSTGATOR?
Anyhow they be to be aware of the problem already so it shouldn't be long till your website is up and running.
